![]() ![]() The only reason I use OneDrive for Business and SharePoint online is that I already have it as part of my O365 subscription, and it doesn't get used. It goes without saying that both systems are encrypted, and all of the backups and drives are encrypted, as well as all of the network traffic decision to leave syncing and browser My Cloud Storage. This means both systems could get completely wiped out, and I could still mount that virtual drive on a laptop and USE the data without having to actually "restore" the data Make Cloud Storage, NAS as a drive in File Explorer. Its also in a very secure location, with extremely stable power (Colocated datacenter)įor good measure, I have some SharePoint online storage mounted with StableBit CloudDrive which I robocopy the data to every 2 weeks. I use Arq running in Windows to backup to OneDrive for Business, and I also use Arq to make a "local" backup to a different storage box (This backup is local to the second box, but effectively a "cloud" backup from the original). That second location has MUCH better internet, so I do my "Cloud" backups there. ![]() This doesn't help if a file is deleted, but it helps if the entire NAS is destroyed, so I can still actually access and use my data. Synchronize between different clouds / protocols and use the best File Manager / File Explorer Now you can synchronize from, to and between over 100+ different clouds And that’s not all, the app also includes the most complete file manager, with multi cloud support, you have ever seen. Then, all of the important data (Not all my movies) are replicated to a second NAS in a secure location with CloudStation ShareSync. It allows you to connect locally-stored folders from your PC with pCloud Drive. I also do 5 min BTRFS snaps which I do GFS and keep for around 30 days (pCloud) Sync is a feature in pCloud Drive. ![]() On my NAS at home I do Hourly local backups to an external hard drive with HyperBackup, also with Hyperbackup I do monthly off-site/off-line backups to a drive in a waterproof protective case I keep in my drawer at work. ![]()
